Job Summary
As a key member of the fraternity's finance team, the auditor will review all financial transactions to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and assist the CFO in maintaining financial stability. In addition, they will perform a comprehensive and non-partisan audit of all fraternity transactions going back at least 10 years to generate a sound financial picture of the organization.
Responsibilities
Investigating and reconciling discrepancies in accounts receivable and payable.
Create and distribute invoices to chapters, following the requirements set forth in the Fraternity Bylaws, Standing Rules, and Policy Manual.
Additional duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field. MBA or CPA a plus.
Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a non-profit setting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Workload
A light workload (3-5 hours a week) is expected. Some travel is encouraged (1-2 weekends, including Convention).
