The Beta Alpha Chapter of Delta Lambda Phi was founded in 1998, when four young men at NC State University who were dissatisfied with other fraternities and their inability to truly be themselves while sharing a bond of 'brotherhood'. Seeking this kind of bond with other like-minded men, they discovered Delta Lambda Phi, a fraternity geared towards men that accepted all men, regardless of their sexuality. Since this humble beginning, The Beta Alpha chapter has grown to 18 active brothers,with upwards to 50 local alumni living in the Triangle area, growing year by year, as others find a bond here that they can't anywhere else.

Delta Lambda Phi is here to enhance the quality of life among gay, bisexual, and progressive men by providing dignified and purposeful social, service, and recreational activities.

Although many of our fraternity events are scheduled around the NCSU academic calendar, membership opportunities are opened for all interested individuals. The purpose of the fraternity, however, is to forge strong bonds of friendship between all its brothers.
