Why does Delta Lambda Phi exist?
In 1986, our founder, Vernon L. Strickland III purposed to begin a fraternal organization free of prejudice and exclusion based on race, ethnicity, religious belief and sexual orientation. Since then, the Brothers of Delta Lambda Phi have been guided by these principles
  • To develop dignified and purposeful, social, service, and recreational activities for progressive men, irrespective of sexual orientation.
  • To lead in determining the rights and privileges of individuals in society.
  • To promote a strong and positive image, which respects the diversity of all individuals, irrespective of sexual orientation.
    • Delta Lambda Phi - Alpha Beta seeks to create a place where men can form close platonic relationships and actively participate in the Purdue GLBT community.
